Note that most of this story I don't even remember... I remember some of it but my memory of it is very faint so most of it she told me.

Anyways so it starts out that I didn't sleep for the whole night from yesterday to today. This morning at about 9 AM my mom is talking about having to go to some kind of store to buy a new screw for a lock... she wants me to come with her but I'm really way too tired so I find something else--I tell her that I'm going to sleep a little bit until 1 PM and I ask her to phone me at 1 to wake me up and then we'll go together (I have my own phone line in my room).

So anyway... I go to sleep. First of all it's VERY hot here in Montreal and to make matters worse my air conditioner isn't working. So there I was... in jeans with a hot shirt crawling in bed and sweating like crazy.

At 1 PM the phone rings. I hadn't slept enough and then I was suddenly waken by the phone... so my mind wasn't really there. In fact my mom told me that she phoned... in my memory I had the impression she knocked on the door--just to tell you how confused I was.

So instinctively I open the door and I see my mom. My memory here is very unclear... I barely remember trying to talk but not quite knowing what I was saying. What I remember is my mom looking at me angry and panicked at the same time... saying "Are you on drugs??"
She said it with a loud voice and it kinda slapped me in the face... maybe it helped me sort of regain consciousness.
I remember saying "no" without really being sure if I said it or not. Then my mom wanted to enter my room but I closed the door so she started asking what was going on with my air conditioner. I wanted to asnwer that it wasn't working but I had a hard time putting it into words... all I knew is that I was VERY tired and I wanted to sleep.

Eventually I got to walk a little and eat some cereals and got on the car with my mom... that was when I was really awaken although I still didn't really remembered what had happened. But along the way my mom told me everything... it scared me.

So here's what REALLY happened:

My mom phones me to wake me up. All of a sudden I wake up and open the door of my room. My mom is standing in front of me and here I was... sweating like a waterfall, my hair all mixed up, my eyes focusing in nothingness like a zombie and my mouth halfway opened. The expression in my face was empty, like if I wasn't alive... for my mom it was like looking at a dead body. I didn't even say hello... as soon as I opened the door I told my mom, half talking and half mumbling: "The day has come...".

My mom looks at me with disbelief... the day has come? What was I talking about? So she asks "Wha--at?"

"The day has come... the day has come"

Now my mom really starts to get worried, so once again she asks "What??"

"The day of the draft has come... they got the player... they got the player..."

"Are you on drugs??"

*shaking head, talking like a zombie* "Noo..."

"You're soaking wet! What's going on in there? Let me see your air conditioner."

*closes door* *groans*

My mom yelled at me to go eat something and get ready to leave. I walked towards the kitchen, still half asleep. I started to eat some cereals but it wasn't until halfway through the bowl that my mind was clear again, although I didn't remember what I had said.

And I still don't remember...

But it kinda scares me. What the heck was I talking about???

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me saying "You're next".
They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

Heh, that's a cool story. I guess the heat was seriously messing with your mind. It also sounds like you could be the first sign of the apocalypse.
